future work : wind tunnel (2020-) infographic
I am currently developing a multi-media infographic in collaboration with the Mechanical Engineering department at Binghhamton University. Professor Bruce T. Murray and I developed keyframes and animation segments describing fundamental concepts of fluid mechanics through a single narrative thread. The infographic walks viewers through multiple variables of fluid mechanics shown inside a mockup of the wind tunnel recently acquired by Binghamton University.
We continued developing this work in Fall 2020 as lecturer Dr. Kirill B. Zaychik joined our design team.
Our goal with this infographic is to provide an educational tool to draw the interest of prospective students into the study of fluid mechanics, as well providing a primer for beginning students.
