My design history scholarship produced articles, review articles, and book chapters on political iconography (pub. 2007), regional and national design languages (pub. 2013), product design (pub. 2015), industrial production (pub. 2012). Moreover, my activities across design and textual scholarship have been recognized in my having been invited to serve as advisor to Victor Margolin’s World History of Design, Volume 2, 2013. Consequently, I was invited to participate as panel chair and commentator for “Image / Text / Tech,” at the Society for the History of Technology (SHOT) conference, 2015, Albuquerque.
