table of contents (toc) graphics (2017-present)
Journal editors in natural sciences and engineering are increasingly demanding that researchers provide a graphic summarizing their paper in a visual way. I have been collaborating with Binghamton University researchers, designing table of contents (toc) graphics that support their grant proposals and paper submissions.

Battery facility grant proposal (2020) toc graphic concept. The graphic developed by Louis Piper and I informed discussions of the grant proposal that took place among the PIs. Proposal was funded in 2022.
Calcium-ion battery research grant proposal (2020) toc graphic. CAS: Ab Initio Modeling of Electrode-Electrolyte Interfaces in Multivalent Ion Batteries", PI: Manuel Smeu.
Computer science paper (2018) toc graphic. This graphic, a collaboration with Dr. Yan Wang, summarized the primary points of a research on smartwatch technology. Graphic visually exploring the notion of “condo lattice,” designed in collaboration with Pegor Aynajian at Binghamton University physics department. The graphic was submitted for consideration as cover image to Science Advances, where the associated research paper was published. It serves as an outreach tool to provide broader access to the research’s content.
